In this quick video, we're going to see how you can lock down the security on a Document or List Item as soon as it has been created or modified in SharePoint Online. We will do this using PowerAutomate (or Flow).
If you want to use this technique, the API request mentioned in the video is reproduced below so you can easily copy and paste it into your own Flow.
_api/web/lists/getByTitle('LIST')/items/getById(INSERT_ID_HERE)/breakroleinheritance(copyRoleAssignments=false,clearSubscopes=true)
Do remember, however, that Microsoft only allow up to 50,000 uniquely secured items in a single list or Document Library!
